Dulse Fronds

History

Harvested primarily in cool waters on both sides of the Atlantic, Dulse is a red seaweed that has a long of history of consumption for its nutrition.* Dulse contains numerous trace elements required by humans, including iodine, and it also provides protein and fiber. Its color varies from dark pink to deep reddish purple.

Function

The minerals in Dulse Fronds help support the digestive process and the functioning of the digestive enzymes.* Dulse is also used for its inherent demulcent, or coating, properties.*
