I was told years ago to use this by a naturopath for my gallbladder issues. If I eat a fatty meal or treat I will sometimes get gallbladder pain and serious bloating. If I think about it before hand and use the bitters I don’t get any of these issues. But even if I forget and take it after the meal it helps just the same. This is the thing I take on every vacation, every trip away from home. I keep some on my kitchen and in my bathroom, and it has saved me from a gallbladder removal I do believe. Yes it tastes gross, but when you are in as much pain as I feel that is of little consequence. I just put a few drops under my tongue and then lie down for 5-10 minutes and then it’s gone!
