A Reflection

By: Ashley Walgren, Sustainability & Impact Manager

Regeneration teaches us to slow down and listen to the soil, to the seasons, and to one another. It reminds us that true growth happens through connection between people and plants, between community and place. In 2024 and 2025, that spirit guided everything we did.

On our Regenerative Organic Certified® farm, 269 acres thrived under diverse medicinal herb crops, cover crops, and pollinator habitats. We completed our first biodiversity assessment to better understand how our farming practices support the ecosystems that sustain us. We also laid the foundation for a circular future by preparing to compost our spent herbs after extraction, transforming today’s byproducts into tomorrow’s nourishment.

Alongside our farm work, we were proud to share over 62,000 pounds of organic produce with our employees and neighbors. We introduced on-site housing for our dedicated farmworkers, renewed our Fair For Life and FairWild certifications, and deepened our long-term partnerships with suppliers and farmers around the world, from Appalachia all the way to Albania.

As we look toward the seasons ahead, we carry one belief: when we care for the earth, we care for ourselves. Because healing the planet and healing people have always been part of the same story.
