Quality & Sourcing
There is much to learn from Nature, and the Gaia Herbs Laboratory is our gateway to those lessons. We pledge to keep our products safe for our consumers and the environment, and comply with all applicable GMP standards for manufacturing, testing, and finished packaging.

A Commitment to Quality
Since the founding of Gaia Herbs in 1987, we have been committed to working with nature to provide people with the highest quality herbal supplements. Our business decisions continue to be guided by our values and our commitment to people, planet and purpose — not by profits alone.

Transparent Sourcing
We believe in sourcing herbs from where they grow best. While we grow as many of the herbs we can on our Certified Organic farm in Brevard, NC, we also procure herbs and ingredients from other producers and farmers around the world, who share our commitment to quality, sustainability and ethicality.

Botanical Sourcing Map
We source over 150 ingredients from around the world each year, touching almost every corner of the globe. Gaia Herbs aims to demonstrate that herb farming supports thriving communities around the world, in both areas that have grown herbs for thousands of years and in countries like the US, where herbal farming is still relatively new.

The Magic of Our Farm
Just as your health is a journey, so is the life of each herb that nourishes your body. Seeds, often saved from the prior harvest, start in our 60,000-square-foot greenhouse, where they are nurtured before being transplanted into our fields. When the herbs are ready, we harvest and bring them to our Certified Organic, FDA-inspected production facility, for extraction into one of our trusted herbal formulas. We take pride in managing the entire supply chain to ensure the highest quality, every step of the way.
