Dr. Richard Harris is a board-certified internal medicine physician and pharmacist. Dr. Harris attended the University of Texas at Austin for pharmacy school then pursued medical education at the McGovern School of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Harris is a lifelong learner and completed his MBA at the University of Houston. Dr. Harris has a client-centric view focusing on building relationships and trust through a comprehensive lifestyle medicine system. He currently hosts the Strive for Great Health Podcast, has several online wellness courses, consults for several health and wellness focused companies, has a social impact investing fund and has an online lifestyle medicine practice focused on metabolic health and gut health. He is an avid reader, weight lifter, and video game enthusiast in his spare time. Dr. Harris also enjoys sports, traveling, philanthropy, church, and keto donuts.

Susan J Hewlings PhD, RD
Dr. Susan Hewlings serves as Director of Scientific Affairs forNutrasource/GRAS Associates. She has over 20 years experience in higher education and industry. She received her PhD in nutrition, her MS in exercise physiology, her BS in nutrition all from Florida State University. She earned a graduate certificate in cannabis science from the University of Vermont Medical School. She is a registered dietitian and a professor at Central Michigan University. Susan has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and books. She lives in the Florida Keys where she works remotely helping companies in the dietary supplement, cannabis, food, beverage, and companion animal industries utilize science to guide their product development from concept to claim.
Orna Izakson, ND, RH(AHG)
Dr. Orna Izakson is a licensed naturopathic doctor, registered herbalist, writer and educator, practicing in Alaska and
Oregon. She earned her naturopathic doctorate from National University of Natural Medicine, and a master of arts in journalism from the University of Missouri. Dr. Izakson has advanced training in herbal therapeutics and is currently a functional psychiatry fellow with Psychiatry Redefined. For six years she served as the founder and lead physician of the Traditional Roots Institute at NUNM, delivering herbal education to practitioners and the public. Prior to her medical career, Dr. Izakson was an award-winning environment and science newspaper reporter, with work published in newspapers, magazines, books and online media. She continues her mission of educating the public about full-spectrum plant medicine as a public speaker and online educator. Dr. Izakson helps patients with mood, chronic disease and women’s health at Alta Natural Medicine (Alaska) and Celilo Natural Health Center (Oregon.)
Majd Isreb, MD, FACP, FASN, IFMCP
Dr. Majd Isreb serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Gaia Herbs. He is a Functional Medicine certified provider. He is also a board-certified internist and nephrologist and has been in practice for more than 18 years. He received his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine, Syria. He finished his internal medicine residency at Northwestern University affiliated hospitals. His nephrology fellowship was at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. In addition to his clinical practice, he also serves as an assistant professor at Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, Washington State University. Dr. Isreb has been alarmed by the rising prevalence of kidney disease in the US and the world, so he founded Integrative Kidney Institute where he is the medical director. As part of his mission to end the CKD epidemic, he champions treatments of kidney disease that apply an individualized Integrative Medicine approach. He is also the author of the e-book “Happiness, Not The Pursuit” which is available atwww.inkidney.com.
