Turmeric Mixed Nuts

If crunchy is what you crave, these mixed nuts just the ticket. Nuts and seeds deliver minerals, proteins and healthy fats for lasting energy and a satisfying snack.

Gluten-free Grain-free

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup almonds
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ½ cup hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 egg whites
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 serving TurmericBoost® Uplift
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper.
  2. Combine the nuts and seeds in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy, and then add maple syrup, honey, TurmericBoost Restore and sea salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the nuts and seeds, and mix thoroughly.
  5. Spread the nuts and seeds in a single layer on the lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes until browned and fragrant, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
