WHAT IS IT?

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a small shrub traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine, known for its adaptogenic properties. It is often referred to as Indian ginseng or winter cherry. The root of the plant has been harvested for centuries for its rejuvenating and stress-relieving effects.

Very helpful for sleep!
I just came off of anti-depressants and decided to take Ashwagandha Root to help with sleep. It has worked so good in connection with some other helps like Magnesium cream. I’m sleeping better now than ever before and don’t have the sleep hangover that pharmaceuticals create. I know the Ashwagahnda helps with other parts of the body like joints and muscles. Very pleased with the quality of this product!

Ashwagandha supplement vs root powder — which is better?

Typically, Ashwagandha root is taken in 3-6 gram amounts, which can be difficult to achieve consistently with bitter tasting powders. Ashwagandha root was traditionally consumed for its benefits.
