St. John's Wort

If you have chronic pain, you've probably taken over-the-counter medicines way too many times and have been to the doctor for a multitude of prescriptions. That's where I'm at, and in addition to taking my prescriptions to manage the worse, I would still reach for Tylenol, Advil, Excedrin, Ibuprofen, etc. to help with the other minor episodes. Well, I've gotten sick from that...twice.

Like almost everyone, I've started looking into the natural side considering these events and other health issues (it doesn't hurt I'm helping a local NC business), and I would suggest this. Traditionally, this is for conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, and depression, and why Gaia Herbs say it helps with a sunny outlook. It is these factors that I suggest using St. John's Wort (always ask your doctor) for stress headaches and migraines (If you get them as often as I do, yes, there is a different type of headache from not having enough water or sugar that day, to stress, to nerve pain, to a bad smell oftentimes gasoline or ammonia, to who knows why your body does it what it does).

It's not going to be immediate relief, I would suggest Gaia's lozenges for that. It will help take the edge off if it's a bad one and you may need to take another drop or few, but the best effect is taking it daily. I would suggest adding this to your daily water, and there won't be oncoming stress headaches (if you don't eat that day and get a headache, sorry champ, that's on you - eat), it manages those types…
