    BLACK SEED SUPPLAMENTS

    It lowered my blood pressure, I kept having reoccurring bladder infections after 4 months of black seed I HAVEN'T ANY INFECTION. Also my son has had sinus infections for years after taking black seed he hasn't had an infection for a year. I'm very happy with your company.

    Amazing Product

    Black seed oil was recommended to me after 2020-2021 and all that entailed, so I had really dug in and researched the benefits of exactly what it could do for my husband. Then I researched companies and found Gaia, but was still on the fence about supplements in general. Last year at my wellness check, my doc prescribed a statin for me because my cholesterol numbers were very concerning. I remember reading in my research the benefits of black seed oil for getting cholesterol back where it should be. I just had my wellness visit the other day and my doc was very happy to see all my cholesterol numbers looking perfect, and he was ready to give me another script for another year of statin. I told him nope, please don't because I never took any statin med over the last year, I took black seed oil every day. He said oh thats right, that's great, keep it up! I have an awesome doc, and he supports me in all the supplements I get from Gaia and use. He knows I do my due diligence and research everything exhaustively. I highly recommend anyone who is dealing with bad cholesterol numbers and taking a statin (which increases the chances of getting ********) to definitely give black seed oil a try!!

Are your products Organic?

Gaia Herbs purchases Certified Organic ingredients when possible. If not Certified Organic, they are Ecologically Harvested. Ecologically Harvested herbs include herbs that are harvested in their natural habitat, (i.e., wild harvested) according to specific guidelines for harvesting these herbs (i.e., away from roads and industry, as well as guidelines to avoid overharvesting).

All Ecologically Harvested herbs must pass pesticide, heavy metals, and microbial testing prior to being used in our products.

Do you test for pesticides?

Yes. Gaia tests for purity using an analytical method called Gas Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry, or GC-MSMS. This testing is used in our extensive pesticide testing program when testing our raw herbs.

What is your policy on GMOs?

Gaia Herbs is committed to using and supporting only non-GMO materials. Gaia does not purchase GMO herbs and/or ingredients. We do a purchasing review to ensure we eliminate the possibility of hidden GMOs making their way into our products.

All herbs propagated and grown on Gaia Farm are Certified Organic and therefore are GMO-free. Our seeds, whether sourced from our farm or a trusted supplier, are also GMO-free. We will always do everything possible to ensure that our products are non-GMO.

Do you test for Heavy Metals?

Yes. Gaia Herbs uses ICP-MS to test for arsenic, mercury, cadmium and lead. ICP-MS stands for Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry. This instrument is the centerpiece of Gaia’s heavy metals testing. This powerful technique is capable of observing a wide range of metal at quantities as low as a nanogram of metal in a gram sample. The ICP-MS allows Gaia to obtain precise and sensitive data for all materials in a high speed manner. The plasma vaporizes the sample and ultimately breaks it down to the atomic level. The mass spectrometer is then able to detect all atoms of interest.
